deep medicine

Welcome

I’m Constance and I work at the intersection of functional medicine, embodiment and mental well-being—as a nurse practitioner, functional nutrition counselor and guide—in Fort Collins, Colorado. I’m committed to fostering healing as an orientation to living, not just a destination.

At Deep Medicine, I provide compassionate, holistic, and personalized care that honors each individual's unique story, body, and journey.

My approach integrates evidence-informed science with intuitive insights, recognizing the interconnectedness of physiology and emotional wholeness within the soil of life.

By creating space for deep listening and compassionate collaboration, attending to both the inner and outer landscapes of well-being, I hold a space for all of you to explore meaningful pathways to vitality and wholeness.

I focus on bioindividuality to understand your unique story and uncover the underlying influences shaping your current expression of well-being. Together, we build resources that align with your values, weaving in any of the following as needed:

  • Functional nutrition and integrative wellbeing

  • Narrative medicine

  • Embodiment

Together, we work toward a deeper understanding of health—one rooted in your own intuitive wisdom and authentic expression.

  • “Constance offers a rare and profound healing experience, addressing the whole person—psyche, soul, body, and mind. In just a few sessions, she helped to ease symptoms of my physical pain and low energy, creating space for deeper emotional healing to emerge. Her steady, compassionate, and nonjudgmental presence allows all parts of you to be witnessed, engaged, and be held with care. She creates a powerful space where honest reflection and true transformation unfold, guiding you back to self-trust and inner wisdom. Her insight is vast, and her care is truly exceptional. With Constance, you are not just observed—you are deeply known. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

  • We think that the point is to pass the test or overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don't really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It's just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.

    Pema Chodron

  • We get remade as we remake the world. When we build something together, relationship is created. Our fantasies of perfection or utopia are replaced with something I find more relieving and real, that we are alive and connected, that there is more to learn, that we change until our final moment, that we are both powerless at times and powerful.

    Prentis Hemphill

  • When we can see ourselves as we truly are and accept ourselves, we build the necessary foundation for self-love…whether we learn how to love ourselves and others will depend on the presence of a loving environment. Self love cannot flourish in isolation.

  • When you know who you are; when your mission is clear, and you burn with the inner fire of unbreakable will; no cold can touch your heart; no deluge can dampen your purpose. You know that you are alive.

    Chief Seattle

  • Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

    Howard Thurman

  • Relationships are all there is. Everything in the universe only exists because it is in relationship to everything else. Nothing exists in isolation. We have to stop pretending we are individuals that can go it alone.

    Margaret J. Wheatley
